Duties This position is in the Plans and Integration Section of the Deployment and Distribution Flight, 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, 153d Mission Support Group, 153d Airlift Wing. Serves as the Logistics Officer with responsibility for overall program management, direction, and control of wing logistics planning that includes multiple units. The primary purpose is to manage, direct, develop and implement policy programs and procedures for the accurate management of Wing Logistics planning. Serves as the Logistics Officer/Specialist and provides administrative and technical oversight to a lower-graded specialist. This position is responsible for fully prepared, assigned unit personnel and equipment for Aerospace Expeditionary Force/Wing (AEF/AEW) Operations around the world. ** This is NOT an all-inclusive list of duties. ** Requirements Conditions of employment KEY REQUIREMENTS: Open to current active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard members. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Equivalent is defined as experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. NOTE: Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
