THIS IS ON OUR THIRD SHIFT 11PM-7AM (Monday-Friday), eligible for shift differential


THE OPPORTUNITY

The primary objective of this position is to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable and efficient operation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing a wide range of facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. The goal is to minimize equipment downtime, support continuous production, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Perform routine preventative / corrective maintenance on all manufacturing and support equipment.

Perform general equipment repairs, installations, and improvements as well as maintain a spare parts inventory.

Assist Engineering on development and process improvement projects.

Assist R&D on upcoming products as needed.

Maintaining cleanliness of equipment.

Perform repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and plumbing installation and other repair work as required.

Follow safe maintenance practices and procedures.

Enter work in megamation system as needed

Fabricate pieces and parts as necessary

Assist facility teams with process improvements, research and order parts for the facility and equipment

Maintain inventory of spare parts for repairs

Schedule outside vendors as needed.

Assist production as needed

Other duties as required and assigned


WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training in electrical and/or mechanical repairs a plus.

Minimum 5 years' experience working in an industrial manufacturing maintenance organization.

Self-motivate able to work with minimal supervision

Knowledgeable in hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Ability to read and understand machine vendor operating instructions and procedures

General capability to read and understand mechanical drawings and wiring schematics

Experience with carpentry, welding, fabricating and/or machining

Ability to prioritize and complete work with minimal supervision

Excellent interpersonal and time management skills

Must work closely with the Engineering staff to implement new projects

Must be able to follow assembly instructions and drawings

Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

Open minded, reliable and willingness to learn new skill sets

Possess excellent people skills and works well in a team environment

Computer skills with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, a plus

Skills utilizing machine shop equipment and fabricating repair parts, a plus

Clear understanding of safe work practices and Lockout / Tag out protocols


WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to safely work at varying heights throughout the facility utilizing proper safety protocol.

Must be able to demonstrate safe lifting capability for 50 pounds on a regular basis and be able to operate lifting mechanisms for heavier loads.

Ability to bend, kneel, squat, twist frequently as well as reach overhead.

Able to safely operate basic hand tools and simple power tools.

Wear eye protection, cut, chemical & heat-resistant gloves, heat-resistant sleeves and other Personal Protective Equipment as required.
