Job description

Job Overview: The Vehicle Logistics Coordinator IV will provide full-spectrum logistics, coordination, and operational support at the Transportation Demonstration Support Area (TDSA) under the direction of the Government TDSA Manager. This position supports demonstration events, vehicle inventory and dispatch operations, site logistics, and equipment management to ensure the safe and effective execution of TDSA activities in support of PEO LS and MCSC programs. Support Hours: Applicant shall be available during core work hours as established the Government customer. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Coordinate transportation and onsite staging of tactical and Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) vehicles and equipment.
* Support execution of vehicle technology demonstrations, product assessments, and industry/vendor events.
* Enforce TDSA SOP and Marine Corps Base Quantico safety, environmental, and security regulations.
* Prepare and deliver safety briefings and operational overviews to visitors and stakeholders prior to all TDSA events.
* Ensure proper storage, security, and readiness of all Government-furnished vehicles and equipment at the TDSA.
* Track and report vehicle mileage, hours of usage, fuel/propane consumption, and dispatch activities.
* Maintain and submit inventory reports, GME mileage reports, repair tickets, and hazardous material usage reports.
* Manage communications across the 400-acre TDSA site using mobile communications equipment; ensure all team members can relay safety, logistics, and emergency alerts in real-time.
* Coordinate maintenance with MCB Quantico Motor Transport Division for PMCS, inspections, and certifications.
* Ensure accountability of dispatch records and trip tickets in accordance with base and Marine Corps policy.
* Assist with the set-up of temporary infrastructure such as portable toilets and field equipment for events.
* Accompany inspectors and interface with Government agencies and stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
* Provide logistical support for onsite training, market research demonstrations, and foreign delegation visits.

* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Minimum Requirements: * Must have a valid Class A CDL.
* OF-346 U.S. Government Motor Vehicle and Equipment Operators Identification Card (or ability to obtain).
* Demonstrated experience operating and dispatching Military Tactical Vehicles, Front-end loaders, forklifts, skid steers, and other heavy equipment.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions, and operate in rugged terrain.
* CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification.
* Completion of the following MarineNet training (or ability to complete upon hire): Storm Water Environmental Compliance, Hazmat Compatibility, Storage & Accumulation and Dispatching and Trip Ticket Training.
Security Clearance: * Cleared Background Investigation Required.
Travel Requirement: * Under 5%.
Preferred Requirements/Education: * High School Diploma.
* Prior experience supporting DoD demonstration/testing events or equipment staging operations.
* Familiarity with TDSA operations, vehicle SOPs, and tactical logistics within a Marine Corps environment.
* Experience with VIPER and/or other base maintenance ticketing systems.
* Prior completion of off-road driver’s training at Nevada Automotive Test Center (NATC).
