As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting access-related concerns.
  • Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations with site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
