Position Summary
 
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Encapsulation Operator to operate encapsulation equipment and manufacture high-quality capsule products in compliance with cGMP regulations, 21 CFR Part 111, SOPs, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, quality-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
 
Responsibilities
 
  •  Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust encapsulation equipment according to SOPs and production schedules. 
  •  Perform equipment inspections, line clearance, and verify raw materials before production. 
  •  Conduct in-process quality checks for capsule weight, appearance, and fill consistency. 
  •  Complete Batch Production Records (BPRs), equipment logs, and production documentation accurately. 
  •  Perform basic troubleshooting and report maintenance or quality concerns. 
  •  Clean and sanitize equipment and production areas. 
  •  Handle, label, stage, and reconcile raw materials and finished products. 
  •  Follow cGMP, PPE, safety, hygiene, and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. 
  •  Assist with product changeovers, inventory counts, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  •  Participate in required training and collaborate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to achieve production goals. 

Qualifications
 
  •  High school diploma or GED preferred. 
  •  Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience required
  •  Experience operating encapsulation, tablet, capsule, or similar production equipment preferred
  •  Machine operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance experience preferred
  •  Experience in dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  •  Willingness to learn cGMP requirements, SOPs, and encapsulation procedures. 

Skills
 
  •  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 
  •  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 
  •  Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. 
  •  Strong communication, teamwork, organization, and time management. 
  •  Ability to maintain accurate production documentation. 
  •  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 

Physical Requirements
 
  •  Stand and walk for extended periods. 
  •  Lift up to 50 pounds. 
  •  Perform repetitive hand and arm movements. 
  •  Bend, reach, twist, and work in a manufacturing environment. 
  •  Wear required PPE throughout the shift.
