Job description

Summary of Job Duties: 10pm-6:30 am Responsible for this position may include assisting in the following processes: mixing, drying, milling, sanitation, tablet compression, coating, receiving, storing, and shipping of the product. The qualified candidate will possess a high level of initiative and dependability. In addition, they should be interested in pursuing a career in the nutraceutical/dietary supplement industry.ย 

Specific Job Duties:

  1. Assist with plant sanitation, includes sweeping, washing, emptying waste containers, including shutdown clean up
  2. Meet all safety expectations including wearing the required personnel protective equipment and follow all safe practices
  3. Work in a team environment and flow to the work and assist others
  4. Maintain good housekeeping with sanitation as a constant and critical issue
  5. Cross-training will occur throughout the facility in all aspects of high speed manufacturing.
  6. Cleans all equipment using current sanitation practices.
  7. Communicate and interact with others in a manner consistent with the company's "I Can Make a Difference" philosophies.
  8. Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
  9. Must be able to follow instructions, including standard manufacturing procedures and processes.
  10. Works within and around the plant to assist in the manufacturing of our products.
  11. Works on a production line to assist with manufacturing our products following all production standard procedures (mixing, roller compaction, coating, milling, barrel washing other processing tasks as assigned).
  12. Complies with all Safety, GMP, Quality, Plant Policies and other Associate and food safety requirements.
  13. Prepare and maintain materials and equipment at the start, during, and end of production.
  14. At the end of the production day all unused materials will be resealed and returned to the designated location in the warehouse following standard procedures and all coding and taping machines will be turned off and cleaned in preparation for the following shift.
  15. Responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment.
  16. Operate industrial power equipment.
  17. Fill in for other positions as needed.
  18. Perform all tasks assigned by Threshold management.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  1. Self-motivated and ability to take initiative and use sound judgment in day-to-day decision making
  2. Punctual and reliable in work attendance
  3. Working Conditions: Loud environment with exposure to powder and heavy equipment in a manufacturing atmosphere
  4. 18 years of age or older
  5. Ability to read and write legibly in English
  6. Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules including weekends.
  7. Be reliable and dependable in attendance.
  8. Previous work experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  9. Able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift 50 pounds. Repeated bending, reaching and lifting of equipment or products.
  10. Willing to learn various work processes.
  11. High attention to details; able to work quickly, accurately.
  12. Be able to work flexible hours and be willing to adapt to changes in orders and tasks. Weekend work may be necessary
