Job Summary:
Suncap Technology is working with a Fortune 100 company in the telecommunications industry located in Stamford, CT. They are seeking a Tableau Developer to join their team, focusing on creating Tableau dashboards, performing advanced analytics, and writing complex SQL queries for data sources.
Responsibilities:
• Strong Tableau Desktop Experience, Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and performing advanced analytics
• Writing complex SQL queries to build Tableau data sources
• Monitoring scheduled Tableau extract jobs and proactively fixing and rerunning failed processes
• Notifying the team and automating notifications
• Analyzing and interpreting data
• Working independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of Strong Tableau Desktop Experience, Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and performing advanced analytics
• 3-5 years of experience writing complex SQL queries to build Tableau data sources
• Able to monitor scheduled Tableau extract jobs and proactively fix and rerun failed processes, notify team, automate notifications, etc
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative and dynamic team environment
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Preferred:
• Alteryx and Excel knowledge is a plus
• Willingness to learn
• Strong problem solving
