The Salesforce Developer II will design world-class Salesforce applications for our evolving CRM requirements. The Salesforce Developer II position will be responsible for developing code-based solutions within Salesforce platform and will work closely with our Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to develop solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Additionally, the ideal candidate will also possess the skills necessary to deliver scalable, high-performance visual analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform
  • Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities to support our business requirements
  • With project leadership, assist in the estimation of work effort and set a realistic schedule for development
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal proprietary and third-party services
  • Testing the stability and functionality of the application
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
  • Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software
  • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations
  • Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes

Job Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred
  • Platform Developer II Certification (preferred)

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
  • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
  • Experience writing Apex classes and triggers
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Understanding of and experience with Salesforce architecture and API
  • Experience using GitHub or other version control software
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
  • 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau
  • Experience working with Salesforce data and objects
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
  • Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud
