Description
Provides technical expertise for IT related projects. Leads the completion of a wide range of technical assignments, including such things as analysis of technical issues, review of technical documents, development and analysis of requirements, development of technical papers, and the development of technical recommendations. Good communications and analytical skills. Working knowledge of word processing and integrated software applications.
  • Creating and maintaining new technical solutions
  • Enhancing existing applications by integrating new technology components and capabilities
  • Assisting the customer in understanding and evaluating new technologies with respect to their current and future needs

This is a unique opportunity to exercise a great degree of freedom and creativity in providing new capabilities and solutions to a customer that is transitioning to the next phase of their technical roadmap.
Clearance
A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
Experience
Five (5) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Required skills:
  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA/DBE performing database administration, engineering, or design in support of system engineering, software development, or related activities
  • Experience with any of the following technologies and applications:
  • MS SQL Server
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL
  • Oracle DB
  • AWS Aurora, RDS
  • ArcGIS
  • RESTful web services
  • Experience with any of the following a plus:
  • Java/Javascript
  • HTML/CSS

  • Cloud-based platforms
  • Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments a strong plus
