Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The Manager, Automation Engineering – Store Benefit will lead data-driven forecasting, analysis, and modeling to quantify and unlock store-level benefits from automation initiatives. This role partners closely with Workforce Intelligence, Automation Engineering and Finance to forecast accurate labor savings and deliver actionable insights to drive timely decision-making.
This position plays a critical role in supporting team with  visibility to performance and converting complex data into clear recommendations, enabling leadership to prioritize and scale high-impact capabilities to stores.Develop and maintain forecasting models to quantify store benefit impact, including labor savings and productivity improvements

About the team:
The Supply Chain Automation Engineering – Store Benefit team integrates automation engineering with store operations, workforce management, and finance to deliver measurable labor and operational improvements. Collaborating closely with Workforce Intelligence, Store Operations, and Supply Chain partners, the team aligns automation initiatives with labor planning and financial goals. Operating across Ambient and Perishable networks, it leverages data, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to bridge gaps between automation delivery and store outcomes. The team prioritizes valuing initiatives, sequencing work for maximum impact, and establishing scalable, repeatable processes that enhance efficiency and operational excellence enterprise-wide.
What you'll do:
  • Provide accurate, concise, and timely forecasting and reporting on a weekly basis to support AOP delivery
  • Collaborate with Automation Strategy and Platform teams to enable AI-driven insights and automate data pipelines
  • Respond to urgent leadership requests with high-quality, data-backed insights ("fire drills")
  • Develop quick-turn analyses and interim solutions to evaluate new benefit opportunities and surface risks early
  • Transition ad hoc analyses into scalable, standardized reporting
  • Leverage data analysis and visualization tools to develop insights, track performance and drive visibility and support decision-making.
