Responsibilities
The Global e-commerce Data Science team aims to maximize the efficiency of e-commerce transactions, lead product decision-making iterations, and achieve sustainable growth in revenue with data and scientific methods, through quantitative techniques such as mathematical statistics and machine learning. This role for our US Operations team will be providing data solutions to E-commerce Operations teams to help solve interesting challenges for our Creator & Merchants. We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to offer students industry exposure and hands-on experience. • Provide actionable insights to drive the growth of business and improvement of operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in quantitative fields such as statistics, engineering, economics, etc; - To succeed in the role, you need to be a proactive, self-driven and impact driven person; - Be able to work with cross-functional teams in a fast speed environment; - Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer or Fall 2026. Preferred Qualifications: - Proficient in SQL and one of the main data visualization tools such as tableau; - E-commerce or online marketplace experience is strongly preferred. [For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $33.25- $52.25.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
