The Data Platform & Technology Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing the company's data infrastructure, business application ecosystem, integrations, reporting environment, and technology stack. This role serves as the bridge between operations, finance, sales, marketing, and executive leadership by ensuring accurate, accessible, and actionable business data across all platforms.
The position supports acquisitions and system migrations, develops enterprise reporting solutions, manages data integrations between business applications, and drives automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
This role combines responsibilities traditionally associated with a Data Engineer, ERP Systems Administrator, Business Systems Analyst, and Integration Engineer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Management
  • Own and administer the Embark dashboard environment.
  • Design, develop, and maintain executive, operational, financial, sales, marketing, and workforce dashboards.
  • Develop KPI scorecards for executives, regional leaders, and General Managers.
  • Create automated reporting solutions reducing manual reporting requirements.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all dashboards.
  • Develop standardized reporting packages for board meetings and executive reviews.
  • Monitor dashboard performance and user adoption.

Systems Integration
  • Design and maintain API integrations.
  • Connect business applications across the enterprise.

Acquisition & Integration Support
  • Lead technology integration efforts for newly acquired companies.

  • Develop acquisition technology onboarding plans.
