Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform the act of mechanically dealing a game in a proficient manner, according to current company policies and procedures and applicable gaming regulations.
  • Responsible for handling guest transactions and notifying Table Games Supervisor or Table Games Manager of any irregularities, disputes or arguments that may arise during the game among players/dealer.
  • Exchanges currency for gaming chips and pay or collect bets according to house rules in an accurate manner.
  • Supports and maintain Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines guest service standards at all times while promoting outstanding guest relations.
  • Provide the utmost in guest service.
  • Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in Section A of the Rivers Casino -- Des Plaines ICS.
  • Complies with all gaming policies/procedures as established by the division and/or Des Plaines ICS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • 1 - 2 years experience in particular multiple casino games required. Craps or Roulette dealing experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with Team members and guests
  • Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing
  • Frequent walking, standing, kneeling, twisting, bending and lifting
  • May be required to sit for periods of time
  • Frequent grasping, squeezing and handling of money and bundles
