Job Summary

UACL Logistics is actively seeking experienced Class A CDL Owner Operators for flatbed work! Responsibilities

  • Safely operate flatbed trucks equipped with manual transmissions across designated routes
  • Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo safety and security
  • Securely tie down loads using appropriate equipment and techniques for flatbed cargo
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety standards
  • Navigate routes effectively, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and load status
  • Manage documentation related to freight, delivery receipts, and compliance records

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
  • Minimum of 6 months of recent DOT-regulated driving experience within the last year
  • Coil certification
  • TWIC Card
  • Physical capability to load & unload freight using forklifts or other equipment as needed
