Summary
This National Guard position is for a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D2514P01and is part of the FL 125th FW, National Guard.

As a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 32), GS-0501-7/9, you will processes data and performs broad-in-depth financial analysis of interrelated accounting, military and civilian pay, accounts payable and receivable, and various travel entitlements to resolve especially difficult and sensitive, out-of-balance conditions associated with processing actions within Financial Management systems. Analyzes and evaluates data to conduct a variety of fiscal reconciliations, reviews, and account adjustments. Reconciles Resource Center Manager (RCM) accounts ensuring data integrity. Coordinates with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) and posts validated accounts to the General Ledger.

Qualifications
AREA OF CONSIDERATION: This position is in the Excepted Federal Civil Service "under the authority of 32 U.S.C. 709" and is open to Category 1: All permanent/indefinite (T32 and T5) technicians employed by the agency Category 3: All current military members of the Florida National Guard; and Category 4: All individuals who qualify for membership in the Florida National Guard and are willing to become T32 Dual Status technicians. First consideration will be given to Category 1.
PCS: Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs, MAY be authorized. Authorization for payment of PCS expenses will be granted ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
Recruitment / Relocation: Incentive MAY be authorized. ONLY after determination is made that payment is in the best interest of the Florida National Guard.
FLNG BUS Code 8888: This position is "excluded" and ineligible for labor organization representation.
Military Grades: Enlisted E1 thru E5
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience collecting and analyzing data; applying procedures and directives by interpreting program material; preparing reports and presentations; delivering formal training presentations or briefings; analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gathering pertinent data, and recognizing solutions; planning and organizing work; and communicating effectively both orally and in writing.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS07 Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-05 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience managing funds through fiscal reporting and financial advisory services, to include budget formulation and execution, travel and commercial accounting, military and civilian payrolls, and financial systems applications.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS09- Must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-07 level or the equivalent which provides knowledge and/or experience managing funds through fiscal reporting and financial advisory services, to include budget formulation and execution, travel and commercial accounting, military and civilian payrolls, and financial systems applications; experience working with the Financial Management Board and handling highly sensitive military or civilian entitlement issues; competencies in directing financial management policies in support of ANG military organizations and units.
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS07 - Successful completion of a 1 full year of graduate level education
or
superior academic achievement
GS09 - Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
