Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our partner, a leading medical center in Milwaukie, OR. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional to play a vital role in diagnostic imaging while enjoying a flexible schedule and a sign-on bonus of up to $6,000. Position Overview
As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using a CT scanner to help physicians accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions. You will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort. This role requires technical expertise, a strong attention to detail, and collaboration with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications and Certifications
  • Education: Completion of an accredited program to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Required Upon Hire:
    • National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association.
    • Oregon Medical Imaging License from the Oregon State Board.
    • National Registered Technologist - Radiography from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Required Within 1 Year of Hire:
    • National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography (R.T.(CT)) from the ARRT OR National Computed Tomography Technologist Certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
