Position Summary: 

  • Performs mammography (and X-ray/fluoro as applicable) using proper positioning, technique selection, and equipment protocols.  

  • Ensures accurate patient identification, reviews orders/requisitions, and documents history in compliance with American College of Radiology standards.  

  • Operates and manages imaging systems (RIS/PACS), verifying image quality, proper labeling, and successful transmission.  

  • Maintains strict quality assurance and radiation safety practices, including ALARA principles and regulatory compliance.  

  • Delivers safe, professional patient care while managing workflow, documentation, supplies, and coordination with other modalities. 

 DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Education - Graduate of recognized, approved AMA Council of Education program in radiologic technol-ogy. 

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.). 

  • State certification as Medical Radiological Technologist (M.R.T.). 

  • Requires Mammography Certification and current CPR and AED certification. 

  • Experience - Two years of experience in general diagnostic radiology desired

COMPENSATION: 

The hourly range for this position is $37- $49.50. Final determinations may vary based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location etc. In addition to this range, Radiology Partners offers competitive total rewards packages, which include possible incentive and productivity programs, health & wellness coverage options, 401k benefits, and a broad range of other benefits such as family planning and telehealth (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
