Job description

Job Summary:
A Lead System Installer – Electrical Systems is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical and low-voltage systems, including security cameras, access control, and other infrastructure. They ensure all installations meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and test electrical and low-voltage systems, such as security cameras, access control, and alarms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Run and terminate cables, including CAT5/6, coaxial, and fiber optics.
  • Troubleshoot and repair system malfunctions and wiring issues.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients.
  • Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in electrical, low-voltage, or security system installation.
  • Knowledge of wiring, circuit testing, and electrical components.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and with power tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 10/30, BICSI, NICET) preferred.
