Job Description

Seeking a Staff Systems Engineer to support complex defense programs through systems architecture, requirements development, technical leadership, customer engagement, and program execution. This role is responsible for leading systems engineering efforts across the full lifecycle for large-scale systems and systems-of-systems.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and deliver solutions for complex systems and systems-of-systems.
  • Lead systems engineering activities across the development lifecycle.
  • Develop, trace, manage, and validate system requirements.
  • Lead major engineering reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR.
  • Generate and maintain technical artifacts including ICDs, CDDs, engineering drawings, and system BOMs.
  • Serve as a key technical interface with customers, subcontractors, and partners.
  • Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership.
  • Support configuration management and documentation control processes.
  • Champion innovation initiatives and support internal R&D efforts.

Essential Skills

  • 8-10 years of systems engineering experience delivering complex technical solutions for Software Systems or Integrated HW/SW Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading large-scale engineering efforts.
  • Strong requirements management and systems integration experience.
  • Proven ability to successfully execute programs through deployment and operational transition.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer-facing skills.
  • Must have an Active DoD Secret Clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
