Standard Job Description
You will be a Systems Design & Requirements Engineer at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Orlando, FL, responsible for developing a system architecture using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques. Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions, and you will play a key role in developing models for current and future system designs, and serving as the focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture for various stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Systems Design & Requirements Engineer, you will be responsible for:
• Developing a system architecture using MBSE techniques
• Developing models for current and future system designs
• Developing system and system element architectures, designs, and interface definitions
• Supporting internal and external design reviews
• Performing system architecture design using SysML based tools
• Defining system functionality, including system states and modes
• Defining system design for software requirements and functional interfaces
• Synthesizing design characteristics into an implementable system architecture
• Working with the requirements management team to ensure accuracy of the subsystem element model
• Coordinating with the team for modeling and simulation scenarios, and predicted performance
• Supporting system timelines and working with software and hardware teams
• Documenting system design and implementation for various use case scenarios
• Conducting model-based performance simulations to determine the impact of requirements changes on system performance and behaviors

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience with 7+ years professional experience
• Familiar with DOORS, MATLAB, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo.
• Experience with requirements derivation, flowdown, management
• Interim Secret Clearance is required to start
Desired Skills
• Proficient in DOORS, MATLAB, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo.
• Experience performing trade studies.
• Understanding of basic missile and/or sensor system design principles is preferred.
• Leadership experience.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
