Centra has an exciting opportunity for a Technology Solutions Systems Engineer in Columbus, Indiana. The Technology Solutions Systems Engineer is responsible for Tier III + support for TS infrastructure issues that arise. This position serves as the technical leader in the design, purchase, implementation, maintenance, and improvements of new and existing technologies. This position monitors and supports all security related to the TS infrastructure while practicing the policy of least privileged with zero trust architecture.

  • Administers, maintains, and enhances core enterprise infrastructure, including core banking systems, Windows servers, VMware environments, storage (SAN), network components, database systems, backup platforms, and enterprise communication systems.
  • Managing the implementation, configuration, and lifecycle management of infrastructure systems, including patching, updates, performance optimization, and system reliability improvements across servers, network, and security platforms.
  • Implements, monitors system performance, and resolves infrastructure issues with strong ownership, addressing incidents that impact business operations, system availability, and the Member experience.
  • Leads and contributes to infrastructure projects, including system implementations, system upgrades, and new technologies, coordinating technical tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Collaborates with business units to understand workflows, dependencies, and operational impacts, enabling proactive system improvements and more effective troubleshooting.
  • Partners closely with third-party vendors and manufacturers for troubleshooting, guidance, and service optimization across supported platforms.
  • Administers enterprise communication and collaboration platforms, including hosted email, phone systems, and call center technologies, ensuring system performance and availability.
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances technical documentation, including system configurations, standards, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Supports critical after-hours and weekend incidents, ensuring rapid resolution, system availability, and alignment with business priorities, operational continuity, and broader organizational objectives.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)
  • Associate's Degree in Related Field
  • Five years up to eight years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience
