Job description

We're hiring a Nuclear Quality Systems Engineer in Windsor!

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with applicable nuclear industry standards, including CSA N299, CSA N285, ASME Nuclear QSC, ASME Section III and VIII, CSA B51, ISO 9001, CWB, and Controlled Goods Program requirements
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation
  • Support customer, regulatory, and certification audits, including ASME accreditation and CSA qualification activities
  • Participate in internal audits, compliance assessments, supplier qualifications, and quality evaluations
  • Review engineering documentation, drawings, specifications, and manufacturing records for compliance
  • Support project-specific Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
  • Verify material traceability and documentation requirements
  • Support corrective and preventive actions, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline
  • 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Nuclear industry experience
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent technical writing, documentation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable codes
  • P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration in Ontario is considered an asset
  • Experience with nuclear quality standards, pressure vessel manufacturing, welding quality systems, or nuclear quality assurance programs is an asset
