Description:

The Partner Quality Engineering Manager at Hyper Solutions is responsible for leading quality operations across multiple manufacturing partner sites to ensure Hyper’s products meet performance, reliability, and inspection standards. This role oversees inspection planning, partner quality performance, and the execution of quality processes across multiple product lines and production environments.


This position plays a critical role in scaling Hyper’s partner manufacturing network by ensuring consistent quality execution, monitoring key quality metrics, and resolving issues that impact production or customer outcomes. The Partner Quality Engineering Manager leads a team of quality engineers and works cross-functionally with operations, production, and engineering teams to maintain strong partner relationships and drive continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead quality operations across multiple manufacturing partner sites to ensure inspection plans and quality standards are executed effectively.
  • Manage and develop a team of Lead Quality Control Engineers and Quality Engineers responsible for site inspections and quality execution.
  • Oversee inspection planning and execution across multiple partner sites and product lines.
  • Monitor quality performance metrics, including defect rates, inspection coverage, and compliance with Hyper inspection standards.
  • Ensure inspection and quality activities align with production demand and operational priorities.
  • Lead partner site discussions to resolve quality issues while maintaining strong manufacturing relationships.
  • Drive quality process improvements and implement best practices across partner manufacturing locations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross-functional communication between operations, production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Hyper’s quality management systems and inspection protocols.
  • Prepare quality dashboards, reports, and performance metrics for leadership review.
  • Support quality investigations and corrective actions across partner manufacturing environments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inspection processes, reporting, and partner performance visibility.

What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day

  • Reviewing inspection coverage and ensuring quality engineers are aligned with production schedules.
  • Monitoring defect trends and quality performance across partner manufacturing sites.
  • Coordinating inspections and quality priorities across multiple product lines.
  • Communicating with partner manufacturing sites to resolve quality issues or inspection gaps.
  • Supporting root cause investigations and corrective actions when quality issues arise.
  • Preparing reports and dashboards on quality metrics and inspection outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience managing quality operations across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Experience leading and mentoring quality engineering teams
  • Experience leading and mentoring quality engineering teams. multiple products or production environments.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems and inspection processes.

Preferred

  • Experience working with contract manufacturing or partner manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
  • Experience supporting high-mix or infrastructure-based manufacturing environments.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but are not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, and location. This hire will be eligible for a discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
