TRC Talent Solutions is recruiting an Electrical Engineering Manager for one of our premier manufacturing clients. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity and one of the company's most urgent hires. We're seeking an experienced engineering leader who can successfully guide a multidisciplinary team while driving engineering execution, technical excellence, and on-time project delivery.

This is not a working manager role. The ideal candidate will have a strong Electrical Engineering background with proven experience leading engineering teams, mentoring technical talent, managing priorities, and ensuring deliverables are met across multiple concurrent programs.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team of approximately 10 engineers, including:

Electrical Designers

Systems Engineers

FPGA Engineer

Bring-Up Engineers

Manage engineering workloads, priorities, and project schedules across 710 active programs.

Forecast engineering resources and ensure projects remain on schedule.

Provide technical leadership while supporting design reviews, engineering decisions, and problem resolution.

Partner with executive leadership, program management, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to drive successful project execution.

Lead team meetings, participate in customer and project meetings, and communicate project status to leadership.

Mentor engineers, develop talent, and promote continuous improvement within the engineering organization.

Ensure engineering deliverables meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

5+ years of engineering management experience leading technical engineering teams.

Strong background in electrical/electronics design.

Demonstrated success managing engineering resources, schedules, and technical deliverables.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with engineers, executives, and cross-functional teams.

Proven leadership, coaching, and team development experience.
