Plant Manager - Woodbine, GA
Position Summary
The Plant Manager provides overall leadership and operational direction for the Woodbine tube and core facility, overseeing manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, production planning, quality, and environmental health & safety functions. This role is accountable for delivering safe, efficient, and profitable operations while driving continuous improvement, employee development, and execution of business objectives. The Plant Manager leads multiple teams and is responsible for translating strategic priorities into operational results, ensuring performance aligns with short- and mid-term business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
  • Lead all plant operations to achieve safety, quality, service, productivity, and cost objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Establish performance expectations, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  • Develop and execute operational improvement plans that enhance plant performance and support business growth.

Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Foster a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accountability for environmental, health, safety, and quality performance across the facility.
  • Ensure systems, equipment, and processes support safe, compliant, and reliable operations.

People Leadership
  • Build, develop, and lead high-performing teams through effective coaching, communication, and performance management.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and expectations while promoting accountability and engagement.
  • Support workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and positive employee relations.
  • Encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning throughout the organization.

Financial & Strategic Management
  • Develop forecasts for production capacity, facility requirements, and operational needs.
  • Contribute to annual budget development and ensure effective management of plant expenditures.

  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align plant priorities with broader organizational goals.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience with responsibility for multiple operational functions.
  • Demonstrated success leading plant operations in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation Range:
The pay range for this position is $108,400.00 - $184,600.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between145,000.00 to155,000.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
