Are you a skilled Salesforce developer who is passionate about creating impactful solutions that serve the citizens of Utah?
The Division of Technology Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced ITA II Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining a State of Utah executive agency Salesforce platform to support critical state services.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Development
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce Experience, Service, and Sales Cloud, and other relevant Salesforce products.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other state systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
  • Implement and manage Salesforce security and access controls.
  • Understand Salesforce administration.
  • Leverage Git source control and CI/CD tools to execute efficient, automated Salesforce deployments and maintain environment alignment.

System Maintenance and Optimization
  • Perform regular system maintenance, including upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Document technical designs, code, and configurations.
  • Work within an agile development environment.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Salesforce development.
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Experience with Salesforce configuration and customization.
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, web services, and integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security and access controls.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II are highly desirable.
  • Experience with version control systems such as GitHub.
  • Experience with Salesforce administration.
