Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer โ€“ Level 2
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Type of Role: Full-Time, Onsite
Shift: 9x80 Schedule (Every other Friday off) POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer โ€“ Level 2 (Systems Engineerโ€“IT) to support development and production IT environments within a space and national security context. The successful candidate will provide systems administration across servers, applications, and networks, integrate COTS hardware/software, and support security and automation activities in highly regulated environments. This position is contingent upon a program award expected in the winter of 2026. RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Provide systems administration of development and production environments, including server, application, and network components. Perform COTS hardware and software integration, testing, and verification. Support system security activities including vulnerability management, access control and authentication, file system security, system hardening, compliance, and auditing. Support operational sites in the use of the deployed baseline and assist with issue resolution. Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible) to streamline tasks and workflows. Document defects in discrepancy reports and collaborate with technical team members on corrective solutions. Contribute to resilient, secure IT infrastructures aligned with space and national security mission needs. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications
Virtualization experience. Linux and Windows systems administration capabilities, including: Configuration and management Package management and software installation Troubleshooting and performance optimization Security support tasks Ability to script (e.g., Bash, Ansible) to automate tasks and workflows. Ability to perform IT environment hardening and security management, including administration of Trellix. Security+ or CISSP, or other certification that fulfills DoD 8570 requirements. Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SCI (TS/SCI); must be a U.S. Citizen. Desired Skills
Experience with VMware/ESXi/vSphere. NetApp experience. Broad system administration experience across: Implementing and managing STIGs Software installations and account management Active Directory and Group Policy Virtualization and networking Hardware design, procurement, and installation Systems engineering, test, and verification. WORK SCHEDULE, CLEARANCE, AND OTHER DETAILS
