The Development Manager is a critical technical leader within the Product Operating Model (POM), accountable for building high-performing engineering teams and ensuring the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions. This role serves as the primary connector between Product Managers, Architects, and Developers to align technical execution with business outcomes.

  • Team Leadership & Talent Development: Hire, mentor, and coach engineers to foster career growth and technical excellence.

  • Delivery & Execution Management: Oversee timelines and commitments, facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning), and proactively identify and remove blockers.

  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers to balance technical feasibility with business priorities and translate strategies into actionable technical roadmaps.

  • Quality & Standards Guardianship: Enforce accountability for software quality, ensuring solutions meet security, performance, and scalability standards through CI/CD and code reviews.

  • Technical Innovation: Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, such as Generative AI or Machine Learning, to enhance product capabilities and user experiences.

The salary range for this position is $130,000-155,000 CAD.
