Responsibilities:

The Systems Engineer will perform the following duties:

  • Provide a total system, data, and architecture perspective, including a technical understanding of relationships, dependencies, requirements of infrastructure, software components, data, integrations, tools, and methodologies
  • Provide need analysis
  • Provide solution engineering
  • Create plans under the appropriate level of detail (cost, schedule, scope)
  • Gather, analyze, and document requirements
  • Create a comprehensive architecture design
  • Perform design reviews
  • Create test cases, performance metrics, and populate test plans and final reports
  • Develop the system
  • Provide technical expertise on implementing information security standards and on enterprise applications architecture by providing guidance on the integration of applications architecture standards into business and information technology processes,
  • Provide disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation services,
  • Provide system integration services
  • Implement the system on the cloud or within the private data center
  • Perform operations and maintenance, conduct periodic reviews, cybersecurity performance, identify and resolve gaps
  • Document system guide
  • Provide data center and network capacity planning including capacity administration and performance management-weekly monitoring & monthly reporting
  • Ensure operational excellence within Managed Services, enterprise networks, and customized application centers.
  • Display knowledge of digital transformation including emerging technologies (5G, Data Mesh, AI, Blockchain, Augmented Reality, Machine Learning, Cloud, IoT) and help customers define and implement them into their enterprise.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the system exceeds their needs

An Ideal Candidate has:

  • US Citizenship
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology) and at least one technical certification
  • Minimum six years of systems engineering experience supporting the federal government or Fortune 100 firms.
