Join a leading defense technology team in Orlando, FL as a System Integration/Test Engineer, specializing in the integration and testing of advanced Electro-Optic sensor solutions for military platforms. This 1st shift position is ideal for hands-on engineers passionate about high-impact, high-tech environments. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure robust system performance, and be at the forefront of innovation within a secure, production-focused environment.
[Responsibilities]
- Develop, implement, and maintain integration and testing solutions for in-house and COTS/GOTS system components and subsystems
- Translate customer and contractual requirements into actionable test plans while balancing technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Establish functional and technical specifications, resolve hardware/software interface challenges, and ensure seamless system integration
- Prepare, execute, and direct comprehensive system and subsystem test plans, procedures, and schedules
- Coordinate testing activities with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Analyze test results, prepare thorough evaluation reports, and validate system performance
- Write discrepancy reports and conduct regression testing for integrated fixes
- Contribute to continuous improvement in test processes and system reliability
