Job description

As the Associate Manager, HRIS, you will be part of the Global HRIS team that has responsibility for Global HR Technology platforms including Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos, and other systems supporting 60+ countries. This role reports to the HRIS Manager and will be leading and executing projects, support activities, and configurations with a strong focus on Workday Recruitment.

This is an on-site role in Racine, Wisconsin.

For internal applicants this is a grade I position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with HR process owners and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, define scope and objectives, and deploy and support the appropriate solutions.

  • Solution and configure HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow, Kronos) including building application components, integrating software, developing external interfaces, troubleshooting and resolving testing issues, and maintaining technical documentation.

  • Identify and recommend solutions and/or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and coordination of diverse, multi-disciplinary HR projects, including process reengineering, and utilize leadership skills to direct staff and resolve issues, ensuring project goals are met.

  • Responsible for overseeing outsourced providers and clients in accordance with the contractually established terms and conditions to ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality standards, and client requirements.

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements through product releases, features, and best practices, and recommend enhancements aligned with organizational needs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience.

  • 1+ years of Workday experience

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • 5+ or more years in Workday performing requirements gathering / technical configurations / project implementation / support of HR systems and processes.

  • ServiceNow for HR Case Management project and support experience.

  • Expert level demonstrated in Workday Recruitment: teaching others, creative problem solving, resolving product defects directly with vendor, independently researching / designing / resolving / improving product capabilities.

  • PMP certification, completed project management coursework, or 2+ years’ experience managing projects.

  • Security and audit controls experience and knowledge.

  • Must be able to work with highly sensitive data and exercise good judgment based on internal/external applicable rules and external regulations.

  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate to clients.

  • Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking skills.

  • Self-motivated team player.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Willingness to occasionally travel both domestically and internationally.

  • Office work environment

  • Remote work available once a week for eligible employees

  • 10% to 20% of work time is required outside of local time zone to collaborate with EMEA and Asia.

  • This role is eligible for domestic relocation.
