Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft 365 tenant administration to support and optimize a hybrid enterprise IT environment. This role is responsible for administering cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, endpoint services, collaboration platforms, and security/compliance controls across Microsoft technologies.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Azure services, Microsoft 365 environments, hybrid Active Directory integrations, automation, and enterprise security best practices.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Administration
  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
  • Manage Azure Virtual Machines, networking, firewall, storage accounts, and resource groups
  • Configure and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
  • Monitor Azure resource utilization, performance, and cost optimization
  • Support Azure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
  • Implement and maintain Azure security controls and Conditional Access policies

Microsoft 365 Administration
  • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including:
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • OneDrive for Business
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Intune
  • Manage user provisioning, licensing, and role-based access controls
  • Configure Microsoft Defender and Purview security/compliance features
  • Support Teams voice, meeting, and collaboration services
  • Troubleshoot mail flow, authentication, and tenant-related issues

Identity & Hybrid Infrastructure
  • Support hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID environments
  • Maintain synchronization using Entra Connect / Azure AD Connect
  • Administer Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
  • Support Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA, and Conditional Access
  • Assist with Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Zero Trust initiatives

Automation & Operations
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts
  • Monitor system health, alerts, and operational metrics
  • Support patch management and vulnerability remediation
  • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge articles

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of systems administration experience
  • 3+ years administering Microsoft 365 environments
  • 3+ years supporting Microsoft Azure cloud services
  • Experience with:
    • Microsoft Entra ID
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Teams Administration
    • Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Intune / Endpoint Management
    • PowerShell scripting
  • Strong understanding of hybrid identity architecture
  • Experience implementing MFA and Conditional Access
  • Knowledge of Microsoft licensing and tenant governance
