About the Role
As an Associate Systems Integration Engineer at Analog Devices, you will bring together hardware, software, firmware, and system-level technologies into fully integrated solutions and products. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will support the development, integration, testing, validation, and optimization of systems that address real-world applications and customer needs.
This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple phases of the product lifecycle, from concept development and prototyping through validation and product release. You will gain hands-on experience solving complex technical challenges while collaborating with engineers across a variety of technical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the integration and validation of hardware, software, firmware, and system-level solutions.
  • Participate in system testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities.
  • Assist in evaluating system performance, functionality, reliability, and interoperability against product requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, test, manufacturing, product, and applications engineering organizations.
  • Analyze technical data, system behavior, and test results to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Support the development and execution of test plans, validation procedures, and system verification activities.
  • Contribute to prototype bring-up, integration, and performance evaluation activities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, test reports, integration procedures, and engineering records.
  • Present findings, status updates, and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts that enhance product quality, system performance, and engineering efficiency.

Must Have Skills
  • Understanding of engineering fundamentals related to hardware, software, embedded systems, communications systems, or system-level design.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with laboratory testing, debugging, validation, or system evaluation obtained through coursework, projects, internships, or work experience.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, specifications, schematics, and test results.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Product Engineering, Embedded Systems, Applications Engineering, Software Engineering, Test Engineering, or related technical disciplines.
  • Exposure to hardware and software integration, embedded systems, firmware development, or systems engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, MATLAB, or similar tools.
  • Experience with test automation, debugging, or system validation activities.
  • Exposure to laboratory equipment, data analysis tools, or test platforms.
  • Familiarity with communications protocols, networking concepts, wireless systems, cloud-connected devices, or Internet of Things (IoT) technologies.
  • Experience through coursework, projects, research, internships, or work assignments involving system integration, product development, or technical troubleshooting.
