Job description

Job Summary:
CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced System Integration Engineer to join their team supporting the Integrated Broadcast Service Executive Agent in Reston, VA. This role involves designing, integrating, and maintaining IT hardware and software infrastructure, as well as ensuring security compliance and troubleshooting IT infrastructure issues.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, integrate, and maintain IT hardware and software infrastructure (servers, network, security, etc.) using systems analysis techniques and procedures to ensure appropriate function of hardware, software or system functional specifications.
โ€ข Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve issues with IT infrastructure including user systems, servers, storage and network connectivity.
โ€ข Provide system administration for assigned infrastructure and establish and maintain security as it relates to system requirements.
โ€ข Apply security patches and operating system upgrades to ensure the security and integrity of the technical environment.
โ€ข Maintain all configuration documentation for assigned infrastructure. Act as a key contributor in new infrastructure projects.
โ€ข Network Technologies: Work with network technologies and protocols to ensure seamless communication between systems.
โ€ข Collaborate with adjacent systems network team to resolve connectivity and performance issues.
โ€ข Adhere to DoD 8570.01-M and 8140 requirements for system administration.
โ€ข Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems and data.
โ€ข Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
โ€ข Generate reports/metrics on system performance and security status as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in IT-related field desired.
โ€ข 8+ years of experience in Information Systems with a specific focus on network administration.
โ€ข 10+ years of technical experience/knowledge of installation, configuration, and security of server environments.
โ€ข Direct experience with RHEL and MS Windows tools.
โ€ข Proficient working knowledge of network technologies and protocols.
โ€ข Strong interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Strong verbal and written communication skills.
โ€ข Security+ (CE)
โ€ข TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
