You'll lead verification and validation (V&V) activities, oversee complex software and hardware integration, and manage configuration management processes. * Experience translating application delivery requirements into platform/infrastructure solutions, working closely with both developers and infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless deployments.
* Hands-on orchestration of container platforms (Kubernetes, Rancher, Harvester, etc.), with a focus on integrating application workflows and infrastructure automation.
* Implementing and managing virtualization and private/on-premises cloud platforms for high availability, live migration, and open standards compliance, in secure or air-gapped environments.
* Applying infrastructure as code (IaC) and GitOps practices to automate deployments, while coordinating changes and reviews with both software and infrastructure stakeholders.
* Designing and enforcing access controls, authentication, and role-based permissions that span both application and platform layers, working with security, infra, and software teams.
* Supporting cybersecurity, compliance, and secure configuration baselines by bridging the needs of application owners and platform operators.
* Managing cryptographic key material, secure initialization, and integration of crypto devices, ensuring both application and infrastructure requirements are met.
* Coordinating software patching, firmware updates, and configuration changes across teams to minimize downtime and maintain mission-critical operations.
* Leading or participating in cross-functional troubleshooting, network management, and incident response efforts that require both software and infrastructure expertise. Essential Functions: * Ability to work on a computer for extended periods.
