Job description

Job Summary:
AnaVation LLC is a leader in solving complex technical challenges for the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community and is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support mission-critical customers. The role involves providing technical support for planning, designing, testing, integrating, configuring, and delivering software services, while working with AWS cloud services and enhancing core applications used by multiple Government Agencies.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Support customer meetings and quarterly Agile Development Planning.
โ€ข Provide technical support for planning, designing, testing, integrating, configuring, and delivering software services in development, test, and production environments.
โ€ข Develop and deliver new capabilities, support existing infrastructure and applications, and add new data sources to secure mission systems.
โ€ข Install, configure, and work with cloud and database engineers to automate provisioning of resources.
โ€ข Validate documentation and create/update scripts to automate operations in cloud and Linux-based environment.
โ€ข Develop test data and system testing, and documentation for all phases of the application development life cycle.
โ€ข Monitor and manage system resources, including CPU, storage, and other cloud resources, to maintain operating efficiency and performance.
โ€ข Serve as team expert for design, setup, configuration, maintenance, and administration of one or more of the following environments: Elastic, WSUS, Red Hat Satellite Servers.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Clearance: TS/SCI Eligible, willing to obtain polygraph
โ€ข Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field
โ€ข Certifications: Currently hold, or be able to attain certification in the following: DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support certifications (CompTIA CySA+ preferred or equivalent certifications that cover both requirements acceptable such as both Security+ and Cloud+) within 30 days of contract start.
โ€ข Location: Full time on-site in Reston, VA.
โ€ข Experience: At least 10 years of relevant technical experience.
โ€ข At least 2 years of experience AWS production delivery. Comparable Azure Cloud experience can be considered.
โ€ข At least 2 years of experience Linux development and production delivery.
โ€ข At least 2 years of experience with Agile programs for Government programs.
โ€ข Systems Integration Engineering experience with modern application development, including backend development, modern UI frameworks, relational databases, and web services.
โ€ข Experience configuring and managing development, test, and production hosting environments.
โ€ข Expertise scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, .net, or C#.
โ€ข Experience in automating tasks with tools like Ansible
โ€ข Experience with backup, restore, and testing configuration and usage of relational database and systems
โ€ข Experience writing enterprise level technical standard documentation and diagrams.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to work with ticketing systems such Jira, GitLab/GitHub Issues, while working across technical and customer teams of all experience levels.

โ€ข Desired Clearance: Active SCI with Polygraph
โ€ข Desired Education: Masterโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field
โ€ข Desired Certifications: Active CompTIA CySA+ or equivalent certifications covering both DoD 8570 IAT II and CSSP Infrastructure Support. Computing Environment certification such as AWS or Linux certifications.

โ€ข AWS, MS Azure or Windows Server 2016 certifications
โ€ข 4 years of experience designing and deploying Elastic data services in classified environments.
โ€ข 4 years of experience designing and deploying WSUS patch services in classified environments.
โ€ข 4 years of experience designing and deploying Red Hat patch services in classified environments.
โ€ข AWS C2S delivery experience
โ€ข Experience with Containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
โ€ข Experience providing systems engineering, integration, and architecture support to intelligence community customers.
โ€ข Experience providing inputs to Government Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization processes.
