Job Summary:
Elevated Technologies, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer II, an intermediate-level position focused on the design, implementation, and management of IT systems infrastructure with a strong emphasis on cybersecurity. The role involves responsibilities such as administering Windows Active Directory, troubleshooting systems/network issues, and developing security policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to create and follow IT related policies and procedures.
• Root Cause analysis of baseline system defects, hardware, and software.
• Administer Windows Active Directory, Group Policies, and Certificate Services.
• Manage network storage devices (SAN / NAS)
• Troubleshoot issues dealing with systems/network and subsystems, identify/analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance actions including system back-ups, error log reviews, and database size integrity checks.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
• Perform security assessments and risk assessments.
• Provide advanced security training to employees.
• Perform other duties and assist with special projects and installments as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelors in related field
• Must have at least five years of combined experience in systems administration and cybersecurity.
• Required certifications: CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification
• Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to obtain a government security clearance
Preferred:
• Additional certifications a plus: A+, Network+, MCP, MCSA, CCNA, SSCP, CISA
• Related military training and/or job experience is a plus
