STS Technical Services is hiring an Enterprise Systems Director in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Position Summary
STS Technical Services is seeking an Enterprise Systems Director to take ownership of the systems that run a growing manufacturing business in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
This is not an IT maintenance role. This is control. Direction. Results.
You will own Epicor. You will define how systems support the business. You will decide what gets built, what gets fixed, and what gets eliminated. The objective is simple. Turn systems into an advantage the business can feel every day.
The Role
You will lead ERP strategy, drive AI adoption, and align systems with real operational outcomes. This role moves between strategy and execution without hesitation.

Job Responsibilities
Epicor ERP Ownership
  • Own the strategy, performance, and roadmap for Epicor ERP
  • Lead enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and user adoption across manufacturing, finance, and supply chain
  • Drive process standardization and system-driven execution
  • Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system reliability
  • Build and lead internal and external Epicor resources

AI Strategy and Execution
  • Define and execute a practical AI strategy tied to measurable business outcomes
  • Identify and implement use cases across production planning forecasting reporting and workflow automation
  • Pilot validate and scale AI solutions with clear ROI
  • Embed AI into daily operations, not isolated projects

Systems Data and Integration
  • Own ERP-centered system architecture across the enterprise
  • Lead integrations between Epicor and HR systems CRM and shop floor or MES platforms
  • Improve data architecture reporting and decision visibility
  • Reduce system complexity and technical debt

Program Leadership
  • Own the systems and IT portfolio roadmap across ERP AI and enterprise initiatives
  • Establish KPIs reporting cadence and execution discipline
  • Drive predictable delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Align technology execution with business priorities

Qualifications
  • Deep Epicor ERP experience with proven ownership in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to drive ERP-enabled process transformation
  • Experience moving organizations from manual processes to system-driven execution
  • Experience implementing AI automation or advanced analytics solutions with measurable impact
  • Strong program management capability across multi-year initiatives
  • Experience with enterprise systems architecture and integration including ERP HR CRM and MES platforms
  • Background in manufacturing or industrial environments required
  • Ability to operate as both a strategic leader and hands-on operator
  • Proven ability to drive user adoption and change management
  • Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Cloud AI or cybersecurity certifications are a plus
