Job description

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, results-driven individual to join our growing sales team. As a Sales Development Representative at Modern Amenities, you'll be on the front lines of our revenue engine — identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective customers to build a strong pipeline for our closing team. You'll work in an environment committed to being at the leading edge of AI, modern sales methodologies, and emerging technologies. We provide comprehensive training and support, so no prior sales experience is required. We're looking for people with strong communication skills, genuine drive, and a hunger to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and reach out to potential customers via phone, email, and social media to schedule initial consultations.
  • Conduct qualification calls to understand prospect needs and assess product fit.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with account executives and closing team members to hand off qualified opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed weekly and monthly pipeline generation targets and KPI goals.
  • Actively participate in ongoing sales training, coaching sessions, and professional development programs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Positive attitude toward rejection with the resilience to stay motivated and on target.
  • Self-starter mentality with a competitive drive to exceed goals.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace.
  • Fast learner who adapts well to new tools, processes, and environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior customer-facing or customer service experience.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
  • Experience leveraging social media platforms for outreach or prospecting.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $65,000 – $75,000 OTE (base salary $36,000 + commission)

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and company holiday schedule.
  • Structured onboarding and training program — no prior experience needed.
  • Clear advancement pathways into closing and leadership roles; we promote from within.
  • Modern office environment with a collaborative, high-energy team culture.
  • Ongoing professional development and skill-building opportunities.
