We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to support maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems and equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

The hourly range for this position is starting at $41 to $45 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. This range is provided to ensure clarity and promote equitable access to employment opportunities.

Shift Information:

Day Shift

Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-4:00pm

Responsibilities

When your actions lead to success:

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production equipment to minimize downtime
  • Diagnose issues with drives, PLCs, and control systems
  • Perform maintenance on digital printing presses and finishing equipment
  • Replace and repair electrical components such as boards, drives, and control units
  • Read and interpret various electrical schematics and drawings from international equipment suppliers
  • Support production by quickly identifying and resolving equipment failures
  • Work independently to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks
  • Occasional travel to support second location (less than 20%)
Qualifications

When your expertise drives us:

  • Valid 442A Industrial Electrician or 309A Electrician Certification
  • Strong troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Hands-on experience with PLCs and electrical controls, Variable frequency drives (VFDs) and industrial automation systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Experience working on production equipment (printing, packaging, automotive, or similar industries considered an asset)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
