Job description

This position will work with business units and IT team members to understand processes, document requirements, and help ensure successful implementation of system updates and improvements. This position supports the connection between business needs and technology solutions using practical, hands-on application.
Principal Duties: 5-7 essential duties required to competently perform the job.
  1. Collaborate with business unit stakeholders to gather information on current processes and business needs.
  2. Document business workflows, procedures, and requested changes clearly and accurately.
  3. Translate business requests into structured requirements for the IT Development team.
  4. Assist in identifying gaps or inefficiencies in current processes.
  5. Support communication between business teams and IT to ensure clarity and alignment.
  6. Participate in meetings, take notes, and help track requirements and action items.
  7. Review completed work with guidance to confirm alignment with defined requirements.
  8. Maintain and update documentation as systems and processes evolve.
  9. Quickly learn business processes and systems.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities which are REQUIRED
  1. Associate's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  4. Understanding business processes and how technology supports them.
  5. Experience with Microsoft Office suite or similar.
  6. Ability to collaborate with various business users and technical team members.
  7. Ability to learn business processes and systems quickly.

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge, Experience, Skills, and Abilities which are PREFFERED
  1. Understanding of Software development process (SDLC).
  2. Experience documenting processes or requirements.
  3. Problem solving mindset with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
  4. Exposure to business analysis concepts through coursework, internships or prior work experience.
