Job description

Summary:
Responsible for the configuration and maintenance of Company computer systems.
Duties:
  • Develop, maintain, and support technical infrastructure, hardware, and system software components.
  • Perform installations, maintenance and support of system software/hardware and user support.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Configure, optimize, and monitor operating system software and servers.
  • Develop and implement IT standards and documentation.
  • Perform root cause analysis and create preventative measures.
  • Provide end user support on escalated help desk tickets.
  • Implement and maintain information security policies and procedures.
  • Define and execute project plans.
  • Manage security audits and vulnerability/threat assessment.
  • Manage software license and contract obligations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in related field.
Relevant certifications: VCP, MCP, etc.
Hands on experience building and supporting Microsoft stack IT infrastructure - Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL server, RDP.
Hands on experience building and supporting highly available virtualized/SAN environments.
Experience with Dell Infrastructure and VMware preferred.
Experience with cloud-based services preferred - 8x8, Azure, AWS.
Experience managing LAN and WAN environments.
Experience with Fortinet firewalls firewalls preferred.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
