Job description

Job Description
Responsible for configuration and administration of point of sale and store network infrastructure, monitoring, security and general systems administration.
Responsibilities
  • Perform network and server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, resource monitoring, and ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
  • Monitor VPN and store network health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise.
  • Maintain internal network infrastructure requirements including point of sale computers, servers, routers, switches, printers, security updates.
  • Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
  • Perform routine/scheduled audits of the networks.
  • Troubleshoot issues with network and server systems
  • Research and make recommendations on network and server upgrades

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or comparable relevant experience
  • Previous experience working with Meraki Network Equipment
  • Experience with Firewalls, switches and other network and security devices
  • Monitoring systems, servers and PC's and SIP phone systems
  • Strong networking and troubleshooting skills are required
  • Proven work experience in medium to large IT (Information Technology) environments. Background check required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a highly demanding, team-oriented and fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office suite and use of product administrative portals
  • Experience with helpdesk ticketing
  • Previous experience with Meraki device setup and guiding remote users
  • Can do attitude, self-starter
