Job description

Kleen Test Products, a leader in contract manufacturing, is hiring a detail-driven Inventory Control Specialist to support our growing operations. If you enjoy problem-solving, improving processes, and ensuring inventory accuracy, this role offers a strong mix of hands-on work and analytical responsibility.
You'll be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory in Syspro, performing physical counts, investigating discrepancies, and supporting material flow across production, receiving, and shipping.
What You'll Do
  • Perform physical counts of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Verify component usage, issues, and returns from the shop floor.
  • Confirm finished-goods production accuracy.
  • Develop and manage an effective cycle-count program.
  • Reconcile physical inventory to Syspro and identify root causes of variances.
  • Complete material-movement transactions in Syspro.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support waste-management initiatives and help reduce material obsolescence.
  • Enter transactions into customer ERP systems (e.g., SAP) when required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements
  • Prior experience (6 months to 1 year) in inventory control or related area; Associate degree in materials planning/supply chain, business, or related area of discipline is preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Understanding of MRP concepts and ERP system functionality.
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google suite and Outlook.
