**Pay Rate $18-20/hr. DOE**
Ewing Outdoor Supply is looking to add to our team with a Turf Distribution Service Professional. This associate will need to be able to keep up with a fast paced role. The associate will be responsible for efficiently and safely operating turf-cutting machinery and coordinating deliveries regarding synthetic turf customer orders. Your ability to lift 50-75 lbs. repeatedly will be vital to this role, as well as coordination of delivery and maintaining high end customer service.
Prior green industry and landscape experience is preferred, but not required, we can teach you.
If you are bilingual English/Spanish, that would be preferred, but not a requirement. We will always look for the right team fit.

Responsibilities
• Execute the annual plan for the branch in accordance with Branch or Warehouse Manager's and the Company's strategic objectives.
• Operate turf cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Be able to lift 50-75 pounds.
• Perform routine maintenance on turf-cutting equipment to ensure optimal functionality and longevity. Report any malfunctions or issues to the maintenance team.
• Use of payroll system regularly to clock in and out in accordance with Company policy and state/federal laws and regulations.
• Execute precision cutting techniques to achieve desired turf roll specifications required, based on Ewing customer orders.
• Adopt and master the use of basic company tools and systems including technology, software, email, etc. and adhere to Company policy.
• Maintain a safe working environment and compliance with state/federal safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with Ewing branches and sales personnel, landscape contractor customer teams, and supervisors to coordinate cutting schedules, delivery logistics, and dispatch.
• Provide superior customer service at all times.
• Keep a watchful eye on the health of the artificial turf inventory, identifying and reporting any signs of defect or other issues that may affect the quality of the artificial turf inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of turf-cutting schedules, equipment usage, and any observations related to artificial turf inventory and turf cutting equipment health.
Conduct pre-operational checks on turf-cutting equipment, ensuring that all components are in proper working condition before use.
• Place purchase orders for artificial turf inventory in collaboration with the Regional Manager and Market Manager.
• Manage receipt of artificial turf inventory purchase orders from the vendor.
• Operate forklift to load/unload artificial turf rolls onto warehouse racking and trucks.
• Drive Isuzu NPR and Isuzu FTR for deliveries of artificial turf.
• Coordinate turf cutting operations and deliveries, occasionally performing deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness and professionalism in the turf cutting operation space.
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management which may include driving a company vehicle.
Requirements
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

  • Basic math skills
  • Be able to lift 50-70 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
