The Nurturing Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct thorough initial interviews and assessments for clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health and substance use histories.
• Evaluate and synthesize bio-psychosocial information gathered from clients, families, referral sources, and other relevant parties to inform treatment strategies.
• Create detailed and individualized treatment plans that reflect current best practices in mental health counseling and chemical dependency treatment.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to offer therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of diverse client populations.
• Continuously monitor and adjust client care based on progress and feedback, ensuring that treatment remains aligned with individual recovery goals.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatments in compliance with relevant laws and organizational policies.
• Engage in regular professional development and training to stay updated on advancements in mental health best practices.

As a licensed counselor, you will work with individuals in recovery from addiction, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. • A Master’s Degree in Social Services, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required for this position.
• Must hold an active Washington State licensure (LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT) and maintain compliance with changing regulations.
• Two years of relevant experience in the field of mental health or therapy.
• Strong ethical standards and a commitment to confidentiality in all aspects of client interactions.
• Proficient communication skills, with the ability to engage empathetically and effectively with clients and team members.

• Experience working in outpatient settings with diverse populations, particularly in the areas of addiction and mental health recovery.
• Familiarity with therapeutic models such as CBT, DBT, or Motivational Interviewing.
• Evidence of ongoing training or certifications in relevant therapeutic techniques or specialties.
