Debt Finance Associate AttorneyAmLaw 50 OpportunityCompensation

$225,000 – $260,000+

A premier AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a Debt Finance Associate Attorney to join its Boston office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing lenders, borrowers, and private equity sponsors in sophisticated debt financing and leveraged finance transactions.

Ideal Background

1–3 years of debt finance experience gained at a national or international law firm

• Experience representing commercial banks, institutional lenders, borrowers, private equity sponsors, direct lenders, and other financial institutions

• Experience handling secured lending, acquisition financings, leveraged finance transactions, syndicated credit facilities, and general corporate lending matters

• Working knowledge of Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) and secured lending principles

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment letters, security agreements, guaranties, collateral documents, and other financing documents

• Experience managing transaction closings, preparing closing deliverables, and coordinating deal teams

• Experience with debt securities offerings, including high-yield and/or convertible notes, is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated transactions simultaneously while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school

Massachusetts bar admission required or ability to become admitted
