Diagnostic Radiologist Opportunity

Client is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Diagnostic Radiologist to join its Diagnostic Imaging Department in a full-time permanent role. This opportunity offers a flexible practice model with a blend of on-site and remote reading and no call responsibility, supporting strong work-life balance. The imaging department includes one employed radiologist with additional contracted coverage and is supported by experienced technologists and strong clinical collaboration across hospital departments. The role is based in a progressive rural hospital environment focused on delivering high-quality, community-centered care. The physician will interpret a broad range of diagnostic studies including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and bone density imaging. Additional procedural responsibilities may include barium studies, modified barium swallows, cystograms, hysterosalpingograms, arthrograms, and optional breast procedures such as stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations. Daily volume is approximately 70โ€“90 reads per day using Fuji Synapse PACS and PowerScribe dictation systems. The radiologist will collaborate with referring physicians, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to maintaining high standards of patient safety and care delivery. Client is an independent, community-based healthcare organization committed to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and strong provider relationships within the surrounding rural region.
