Description
Job Title: QA Analyst - On-site
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Analyst (onsite) to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving the Quality Assurance function forward to meet business objectives. This role will focus on supporting multiple Agile pods and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications and non-software solutions for products and services. The QA Analyst will collaborate with Business Analysts, Scrum teams and developers building efficient testing processes to support the credit union's digital-first strategy.
What You Will Do:
The QA Analyst will be responsible for executing comprehensive QA processes, including manual testing, regression testing, and utilizing existing automated test suites. This role focuses on validating front-end and back-end functionality, ensuring quality throughout the software development lifecycle, and supporting the organizational readiness strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Business Analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into test plans.• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing.
• Conduct smoke, functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Lead the QA efforts across multiple Agile Scrum teams, focusing on automation, regression testing, and continuous improvement.• Oversee smoke testing and user story validation to ensure functionality meets business requirements.
• Ensure smooth testing of connector integrations and APIs, automating where possible.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support activities with business stakeholders.
• Prioritize end-user and front-end testing to ensure high-impact areas are thoroughly validated.
• Implement risk-based testing strategies, focusing on high-usage and critical functionalities.
• Analyze defect data to identify system weaknesses and improve test coverage.
• Lead efforts to continuously refine QA processes, incorporating feedback from retrospectives and post-release reviews.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices, recommending enhancements to existing processes
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance experience, automation and manual testing.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Strong background in both manual and automated testing, with a focus on regression and API testing.
• Knowledge of Jack Henry's Symitar, Salesforce and Digital Banking systems is plus.
• Certifications in QA methodologies or tools (e.g., ISTQB, Selenium, Postman) are preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on cross-departmental alignment.
• Ability to influence and drive quality initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in Selenium for test automation and Postman for API testing.
• Experience with test case management tools like TestRail or Zephyr, and version control tools like Bitbucket.
• Proficient in Jira for defect management and integrating QA processes.
• Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks like Appium is a plus.
Pay Grade Info :
The base pay range for this position is: $75k-$90k annually
