We are looking for Mechanical Assemblers for Pomona, CA
2nd shift hours: 4:00pm - 12:30 Midnight, 3 months of training on 1st shift
Pay $19.98
Position Overview:
  • Assembling and/or modifying electromechanical equipment (e.g. Switchboards, Lighting Panels, etc.) with use of mechanical tools and blueprints.
  • Processes work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Scans in and out of work orders (with the use of computers, scanning devices, etc.) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Reads and interprets documents associated with the completion of mechanical assembly assignments (e.g. blue prints, bill of materials, one line diagrams, etc.).
  • Fastens component parts on cubicles or frames, subassemblies, or unit assemblies.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
  • Must be able to stand for 10-12 hour shifts

Basic Qualifications:
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical /measuring tools
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Ability to stand to perform job duties
  • Ability to reach, grasp and lift up to 50lbs, push/pull and slide heavy material
  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl and climb
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be thorough and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to learn all equipment operated in the facility, and follow established processes
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with reading Blue Prints
  • Previous experience with Large Industrial Machines

The pay for this position is $19.98 per hour, plus an additional $.40 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
