\n Job Summary & Responsibilities
\n <\/div>\n
\n We are looking for an CNC Swiss Lathe Machinist to work for a machine shop located in Fullerton, CA. The Swiss Lathe Machinist will be responsible to verify settings by measuring positions, first\-run part, and sample work pieces; adhering to drawing and process control standards.
\n <\/div>\n
    \n
  • Maintains specifications by observing machining process and operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Confirm with engineering, supervisory, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Study sample parts, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Under supervision, interprets programs to determine of sequence of operations and set\-up requirements.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Independently sets up and operates multi\-axis machines with very limited assistance.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Performs set\-ups, tool change and resetting of tool offsets, when necessary.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Dis\-mantles set\-ups and returns tools and fixtures to proper location upon completion of manufacturing runs.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Reports discrepancies to Lead or Supervisor.<\/span>
    <\/li>\n
  • Ensures that all responsibilities and functions performed are in accordance with company policy procedures and meet the quality standards.<\/span>
